Gas Building Installation Project

To standard NBR14570:2000 establishes the minimum conditions required for the design and execution of internal installations to operate with Natural Gas (GN) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (GLP), in the vapor phase, with maximum working pressure of 150 kPa1.

Building gas installations can be supplied either by street pipes or by a gas plant, the gas being conducted, through a system of pipes.

A Norma NBR14570:2000 does not apply to installations consisting of a single device for use, directly connected, through flexible tube, to a single container with a volumetric capacity of less than 32L and to installations when the process is exclusively industrial.

The pipes, after your installations, must be watertight and unobstructed. There must be a manual shut-off valve at each point necessary for safety., system operation and maintenance.
The piping cannot be considered a structural element nor be installed inside any structure.. The piping cannot pass through points that subject it to tensions inherent to the building structure.

What is LPG?

Oh GLP, popularly known as “cooking gas” or LP Gas, is a mixture of liquid hydrocarbons: commercial propane and butane. It can be obtained in two ways: for oil refining and natural gas processing in UPGNs (Natural Gas Processing Units).

At room temperature and subjected to pressure in the range 3 a 15 kgf/cm2, LPG comes in liquid form and is lighter than water. That's where your name comes from: Liquefied petroleum gas.

No brazil, Its greatest use is in cooking food and has a greater presence than electrical energy, piped water and sewage network. In developed markets, LPG is widely used in industrial applications, commercial and agricultural.

Chemical composition

Commercial propane is supplied in bulk and consists, mainly, in hydrocarbons containing three carbon atoms, expressed in the chemical formula C3H8.

O que é GLP?

Commercial butane consists of hydrocarbons containing four carbon atoms, mainly n-butane and iso-butane: C4H10.

O que é GLP?

Because these gases are odorless, for a safety measure, mercaptan is added, a sulfur-based compound, making any leaks quickly detected. Because it is easily transported, no need for gas pipelines, LPG reaches where you are.

All industry and commerce, especially those aimed at cooking food, can use LPG much more efficiently, without the need for a large investment. Because it is a clean fuel, It can be used in direct contact with food and articles such as fine ceramics, without any harm to the purity of these products.

The calorific value of LPG is much higher than that of other energy sources, like diesel oil, natural gas, firewood and electricity.

See the graph for the calorific value of LPG in relation to other energy sources.

LPG is abundant energy, clean and low cost...(See more at: http://www.glpgas.com.br)

What is CNG?

The CNG (natural gas)  It is, as the name itself indicates, a substance in a gaseous state under ambient conditions of temperature and pressure. Due to its gaseous state and its natural physical-chemical characteristics, any processing of this substance, whether compression, expansion, evaporation, temperature variation, liquefaction or transport will require thermodynamic treatment like any other gas.

We present below the characteristics of natural gas that allow understanding from the perspective of its condition as a substance in the gaseous state. Natural gas is found in underground reservoirs in many places on the planet, both on land and at sea, just like oil, the number of reservoirs containing natural gas associated with oil being considerable. In these cases, the gas is called associated natural gas. When the reservoir contains little or no amount of oil, natural gas is said to be non-associated.... (See more at: http://www.gasnet.com.br)
