AutoCAD is one of the most "resistant" for Mac OS X, forcing many users to use Windows computers or, more recently, for working with Parallels Desktop type applications.
Nonetheless, this could change very soon, because Autodesk seems to have realized the growing importance of Apple computers and is working on developing a native application that is currently in beta testing.
AutoDesk has stated that there is already a sufficient base of MacOS X users to allow the creation of an AutoCAD. This version is still under development and will be 64 bits. There is no release date forecast yet.. While we wait, follow some images:
