A WEG S.A. announces partnership with MAN Latin America, for the development of the first light truck 100% elétrico desenvolvido no Brasil.
The e-Delivery model, will be equipped with the WEG Powertrain system, formado por um novo motor elétrico que entrega 80 kW (109 cv) de potência mais um inversor de frequência. Além do Powertrain, a WEG também fornecerá os motores elétricos e inversores auxiliares para os sistemas de compressor de ar, bomba hidráulica e ar condicionado.
O projeto, desenvolvido em parceria com a Eletra, para tração de veículos comerciais, conta ainda com bancos de bateria de íon-lítio e uma autonomia de até 200 quilômetros, de acordo com a aplicação e a configuração do veículo.
O e-Delivery será desenvolvido com engenharia 100% nacional. O início das operações em frotas piloto está previsto para o próximo ano. The project was presented to the market by Volkswagen to meet the green logistics segments, Zero emissions and circulation in low noise places.
